| MARY MICHALCHUK (nee LISOWECKI) 1917 2009 With sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother and Grandma Mary after a long struggle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Leon and daughter Donna, Mary is survived by siblings Sonia and Peter, son Bobby, daughter Lasha and seven grandchildren. Born in Poplarfield, MB, Mary was a dedicated and popular teacher in the area for many years. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her for her spirit, resiliency and fierce independence in facing the many challenges in her life. A memorial service is planned at a later date. |
