JOCELYNE HEBERT (née GOSSELIN) April 7, 1941 July 5, 2009 Paisiblement, après une longue et courageuse lutte contre la maladie, Jocelyne est décédée, entourée de sa famille, le 5 juillet 2009, au Centre Médico-Social de Salaberry, à Saint-Pierre. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux bien-aimé, Gilles Hébert, qu'elle épousait le 29 juillet 1961; ses trois fils: Jocelyn (Debbie); Bruno (amie Natalie); Brice. Ses petits-enfants: Christina Garnham (Jon) et leurs enfants, Ashley et Justin; Darrell Preteau; Jessé Larivière; Janessa, Kamilla, Jude and Erik Hébert; Julie Blatz; frères et soeurs: Germaine (Hervé) Marion; Martial (Angèle); Gaëtan (Pierrette); Noëllie (Mark) Paracholski; Joanne (Ken) Rasmussen; Bernard (Elaine); Chantal (Fernand) Catellier; Josette (Brad Penelton); sa belle-famille: Yolande Gosselin; Denis (Hélène) Hébert; Jeanne (Wilfrid) Gosselin; Carmelle (Gerry) Lafantaisie; Diane (Léo) Robert; et Thérèse Hébert; de nombreux parents et amis. Jocelyne was predeceased by her parents, Germain and Cécile (née Breton) Gosselin; parents-in-law, Joseph and Rose-Alma (née Marcotte) Hébert; Gérard Gosselin, Roger and Lorraine Hébert, Guy Hébert and Berne Gosselin. Jocelyne, the first-born of nine children, spent all her life in La Rochelle and Saint Malo. She attended the Manitoba Teachers' College in 1958-59 and taught school in Saint Malo for a few years. In 1962, Gilles and Jocelyne co-founded Hébert's Electric which they operated for the next 42 years. Throughout her life, Jocelyne was a pillar of strength and courage, indeed a very special person. Les funérailles auront lieu en l'église de Saint-Malo, le mercredi 8 juillet 2009, à 11 heures, présidées par l'abbé Marcel Chaput; l'accueil à 10 h 30. L'inhumation des cendres aura lieu au cimetière paroissial. The family wishes to thank the personnel of St. Boniface General Hospital Cardiac Unit, Pacemaker Clinic and Oncology Dept., for the excellent care given to Jocelyne during the past several years. Our gratitude to our family doctor, Dr. Migally, the staff and the Palliative team at Centre Médico-Social de Salaberry in St. Pierre for the loving care given to our beloved Jocelyne. We also want to thank the many supportive friends and family for their expressions of love during this difficult time.
