STEPHEN PHILIP LOZINSKI It is with deep respect that his family reflects on the life of Steve Lozinski, with his passing on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the age of 92 years, at the Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour, MB. Steve is survived by his wife of 26 years of marriage, Mary, her children Grace (Vern) Decterow, Lac du Bonnet, MB, Richard Urbanski, Toronto, ON, and Ron Urbanski, Calgary, AB, three grandchildren J.P., William and Kathryn; his sister Mary, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Steve was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters. Steve was born and raised in Molson, MB, from where he began a career with CP Rail, from which he retired. He became a longtime resident of Beausejour, where he participated in such activities as Meals on Wheels (20 years), the 50 Club, but was particularly focused on church activity in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church through which he exemplified his integrity, morality, perseverance and hard work ethic. Steve was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 72 years, 54 years as a member of the 4th Degree of the Sir Patrick Kennedy Assembly KSG No. 1937. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Avenue and 3rd Street, Beausejour with Rev. Fr. Carl Tarnopolski presiding. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be his fellow 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
