AINSLIE (LEE) DINGWALL June 1, 1922 - July 19, 2009 Peacefully with family present, Lee passed away at Concordia Hospital on Sunday, July 19, 2009. Lee will be sadly missed by her husband Hugh Richardson; daughter Pat (Dave) Wood; grandchildren Jason Wood, Kimberly (Brent) Campbell; and great-grandchild Ethan; Hugh's daughters Judy (Jack), Laurie and Shirley Richardson; close friends Elaine Sutton Kelly (Tim) and Bert Dykes, as well as many other friends and relatives. Lee was predeceased by her first husband Thomas Gordon (Gordie) Dingwall. Lee and Hugh have lived in the RM of Springfield for many years. They enjoyed escaping the cold in Scottsdale every winter, and made many friends at the Road Runner Lake Resort. They loved to attend the dances every Saturday night. Lee was an active member of the Springfield Hunt, loved her horses, dogs and cats. Lee was a very special lady and will be remembered and missed by all that knew her. Many thanks and appreciation for the special care given by the Oakbank home care, the Concordia nursing staff and by Dr. Bruce Kowaluk. A special thank you to Dr. John L. Rabson for his many years of care. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oakbank United Church, 582 Balsam Crescent, with Worship Leader Ann Cooke officiating. There will be no interment; like her first husband Gordie, Lee's request was to have her body donated to the University of Manitoba, Department of Anatomy. In Lieu of flowers donations in Lee's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
