MURIEL BELL (nee YEREX) March 19, 1940 - July 31, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of Muriel Bell on July 31, 2009. Muriel is survived by her son, Donald MacLellan (Dawn). She is also survived by her sisters Carol Carson (Ed), Erma Massing, brothers Daune Yerex (Joan), Glen Yerex (Vera), sister-in-law Lorna Yerex, brothers-in-law Jim Fleger, John Williamson and John Wood as well as many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Muriel was predeceased by husband, Allan Bell, mother and father Irene and Noble Yerex, sisters Norma Fleger, Sibyl Burton (Galvin), Mavis Williamson, Ardyth Wood, brother Max Yerex and brother-in-law Cliff Massing. Muriel was born in Neepawa, MB and raised in Springhill District, RM of Rosedale. She attended Springhill School and at the age of 15, moved to Winnipeg with her family. Muriel loved her sports, watching every curling game on TV, and was a faithful fan of the Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Goldeyes. Her enthusiastic support in the ballpark will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations in Muriel's memory may be made to Field of Dreams Foundation, 1 Portage Avenue East, Winnipeg, MB R3B 3N3. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Private interment will take place at a later date at the Neepawa Riverside Cemetery. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
