| HAROLD GEORGE FAST 1932 - 2009 On Saturday August 8, 2009 at Salem Home in Winkler, MB, Harold Fast aged 76 years formerly of Rosenfeld passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Harold is survived by and will be greatly missed by his six children, Shirley and John Banman (Michael and Karla, Cristi and Jerome, and great-grandson, (Theo); Donna and Errol Pelser (Nathan and Andre, Jodi and Nick); Bob and Dale Fast (Errin, Heather and Matthew); Roma and Al Maronese (Jessica, Andrew, Luisa); David Fast and Tannis Redekopp (Meghan, Julia); Trish and Murray Bobrowski (Laura, Mitchell). He is also survived by one sister, Hilda (Ed) Funk and brother-in-law, Dave Friesen. Harold was predeceased by his first wife Anne Schellenberg Fast in 1999, and infant son Donald in 1954, his parents Henry and Luise Fast, brother, Henry Fast and sister, Helen Friesen; his second wife, Anne Wiebe Fast also predeceased him in December, 2005. Interment will be today and prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at Winkler Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held today Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, 1350 Pembina Ave. in Winkler. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Harold's memory to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan available at the church.
