Remaining to forever cherish Belva's memory is her daughter Brenda; sons, Elwyn (Kathy), Bill (Shirley) and Terry (Leona); brothers, Ron (Gloria) Barr of Barrie, Ontario and Ross Barr of Niagara Falls, Ontario; sisters-in-law, Kay Barr of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Thelma Barr of Woodstock, Ontario as well as 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and dear friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 39 years, Ron; her parents Malcolm and Susan Barr; her husband's parents Thomas and Lydia Hancox; sisters Marjorie O'Neill and Doris Barr; brothers, John, Harold and Ernie Barr; brothers-in-law Harry Walker and Ray O'Neill; sisters-in-law Peg Walker and Jean Barr and great-granddaughter Daena Woodland. Formerly of Starbuck and Winnipeg, Belva spent many years at White Lake, Manitoba. Belva enjoyed many wonderful years at White Lake, where she and Ron loved fishing, hunting and the company of family and friends. Mom opened her heart and home to all her family and friends. She took great pleasure in cooking and baking. Everyone who visited left her home well fed and 'watered'. She also loved to read and knit. Belva worked several years in the Accounting Departments at MacDon (Kilberry) Industries and Marr's Leisure Inc. At Belva's request, no formal funeral service will be held. Her family wishes to extend a special thank you to the home care workers and the wonderful staff at the Whitemouth Personal Care Home for their loving care. Flowers are gratefully declined, however those wishing to do so may make a donation in Belva's memory to the charity of their choice.
