MABEL JESSIE KLYM (published on October 14, 2009)

MABEL JESSIE KLYM (nee MILNE) Jessie passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jessie was a sibling to four sisters, Jean (Lance) Seavers, Betty (Elmer) Iverson, Mary (Cliff) White, Chris (George) Bartel and one brother Adam Milne; mother of two children, Kathy (Douglas) Buchko and Ken (Lynn) Klym; grandmother to Jared (Jenaya) Buchko, John (Angie) Buchko, Jasmine Klym and Jenna Buchko; and great-grandmother to Jack and Jade Buchko. Born on September 8, 1927, she was raised in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, but spent the majority of her life living in the Arborg area. Jessie's passion in life was certainly her family and many friends. She found friendships to be her greatest joy in life, and always made time to surround herself with many people. Her friendships and strong family values were her greatest traits. Jessie was a well known face to the community, and through her work with the Vidir Ladies' Aid, Arborg Hospital Auxiliary and many other local organizations Jessie was a selfless volunteer. Her children remember their mother for her steadfast passion to sacrifice her own needs and wants unconditionally. Grandma at the Farm provided years of endless love and support for her grandchildren, and inspired many people in Arborg with her energy and zest for life and happiness. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church, Arborg, MB. Rev. Bruce Zinken will officiate. In lieu of flowers Jessie's family welcomes your support of the Arborg Heritage Village in her memory. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
