STEVEN MARK-ANTHONY YABLONSKI (published on October 17, 2009)



STEVEN MARK-ANTHONY YABLONSKI Accidentally on Sunday, October 11, 2009 our most beloved son and brother, Steven Mark-Anthony Yablonski passed at the age of 23 years. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Robert and Andrea Yablonski; younger sisters Nicole and Kerstin; grandparents Karl and Gertrud Hauser and Pat Yablonski, and numerous other family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather Peter Yablonski in 2004. Steven was born in Gimli, MB on March 22, 1986 and grew up in Fraserwood, MB. He attended the Fisher Branch Early Years School for three years, then later the Gimli Early/ Middle Years School and Gimli High School from where he graduated. After graduation he worked at Gimli Super A Foods and had various other jobs. He then moved to Winnipeg where he eventually worked at Pizza Hut, always taking any opportunity to make life better. Steven was always outgoing and full of life. He was a true entertainer. He especially loved to sing and dance whenever he could. He attended the International Peace Gardens, World Youth Day in Toronto and Brandon Jazz Festival when he was still in school. He also loved to be involved in the Church and with others, doing everything from Alter Serving to teaching Catechism to playing trumpet in the Youth Band. He was a good role model. Steven also attended the St. Malo Roman Catholic Camp with Eric Zalevich where they enjoyed their faith, through music. Steven always loved to have a good time and to be around family and friends. He touched people's lives wherever he went and lived life to the fullest. Steven's hugs and kisses will be greatly missed by all. Prayers will be held at the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Gimli. MB, on Highway #9, beside the Gimli Hospital, on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. also at St. Michael's Church, with viewing prior to service, interment will follow in the Precious Blood Church Cemetery, Fraserwood, MB. Instead of flowers, donations in Steven's memory may be made to the Gimli High School Band Program. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
