ZDZISLAW ANDRZEJCZAK (published on December 16, 2009)

ZDZISLAW ANDRZEJCZAK November 05, 1962 - December 11, 2009 It is with heavy hearts and deepest sorrow we must announce the sudden and tragic passing of a wonderful and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend on December 11, 2009 at the age of 47 years. Left to treasure Zdzislaw's memory are his wife of 23 years Jolanta, his son Kamil, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, his mother Marianna, his sisters, Irena (Andrzej, David, Jessica) and Elzbieta (Magda, Asia with families), mother-in-law Jadwiga, brother-in-law Artur (Agata and children) and numerous relatives and friends in Poland and Canada. Zdzislaw was predeceased by his father Czeslaw and father-in-law Zdzislaw. Zdzislaw was born on November 5, 1962 in Koszalin, Poland. He earned his car mechanic technology diploma from Technical College in Koszalin and shortly thereafter came to Canada to start a new life for himself and his young family. Zdzislaw's first and foremost passion in life was his love for his childhood sweetheart and wife of 23 years Jolanta as well as son Kamil, his constant source of pride and joy. His main purpose in life was to provide for his family but he was also known to all around him as a man with a big heart, great sense of humor and true zest for life. He loved to spend time socializing, joking and laughing with friends. Zdzislaw was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hiking and picking mushrooms, going to concerts and movie theatres. He was a mechanic by trade and loved to work on and fix cars. Zdzislaw was truly an animal lover, rescuing and giving home to countless animals over the years. You will be loved, missed and remembered always. Special thanks to the staff of Emergency Services and the Health Sciences Centre as well as witnesses at the scene who comforted Zdzislaw. Prayers will be held on Friday, December 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Cremation to follow.
