She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her daughters, Emily Knapp (Milton) of Vancouver, BC, Bernice Comberbach (Robert) of Stonewall, and Verna Campbell of Stonewall. Mom is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Jean Sawchuck of Woodlands, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1972; her infant grandson in 1961; her son-in-law Keith Campbell in 2004 and her parents Anne and George Fedirko; her four brothers Micheal, Andrew, Kerelo and Nickolas; her two sisters Anne (Mom's twin) and Nelley. Mom was born in Poland in 1907 and immigrated to Canada in 1930. She was hired by Nick Jaremowich to work in Saskatchewan as a housekeeper and farm hand. She ended up marrying the boss's son, Frank. In 1940 Mom, Dad and the family moved to Stonewall, MB. Mom and Dad farmed until 1962 then they moved into town. Mom lived in the same house until one year before her passing. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff at the Grace, Seven Oaks and Stonewall Hospitals and Betel Nursing Home for their care. A special thanks to the home care and private care ladies of Stonewall. An evening prayer service will be held at Stonewall Christ the King Catholic Church, (315 2nd St. East) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010.
