| JAMES SCHAPANSKY After a courageous battle with cancer, Jim passed away at the age of 49, at the St. Pierre Hospital December 29, 2009. He is survived by his wife Helen (nee Klassen) of 27 years, daughter Joanne, son Steven, his parents (Jake and Lena Schapansky), two brothers (Gary and Carl), and one sister (Val) and their families, two brothers-in-law (Don and John) and their families, and countless friends. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 4, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Word of Life Mission Church, 233 3rd St. S., Niverville, MB with interment at Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville, MB. An informal time of sharing will be held Sunday, January 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the Niverville Community Fellowship Church, 116 3rd Ave. S. Flowers are gratefully declined.
