DARCY COLIN CRAIG (published on January 09, 2010)

DARCY COLIN CRAIG It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darcy Craig on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 46 years. Remaining to forever cherish Darcy's memory are his daughter Taylor Craig (his pride and joy); loving mother Mary Craig; brother Corey Craig; Uncle Bob (Therese) Moggey; Aunt Donna Beauregard; Aunt Jean (Grant) Kreamer and their respective families; Biological father, Colin (Kathie) Downs; sister Colleen Haglund and nephew, Bradley Haglund, ex-wife but good friend, Karen Craig (Miller). He was predeceased by his dad, Doug Craig and his grandparents Rose and Harold Moggey. Darcy was born in Winnipeg on July 22, 1963. For the past 25 years he has been a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermaker's Local 555. He had a smile that would light up a room and always had big bear hugs and kisses for everyone. He had a wonderful sense of humour and a heart of gold. Darcy's personality was one of a kind; he touched the hearts of so many people in many different ways. His love for life will live on forever through our hearts and memories. Darcy was very fortunate to have many loyal friends; David Pep Flatt, Ian Pearch and Brian McGowan as well as others who are too numerous to name. Sweet dreams Darcy you are loved and will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts. In compliance with Darcy's wishes no formal service will be held. I go from you gently for it is my time to take the next step in this journey of mine. Don't grieve for me long I've not left you alone for I will be with you in the love that we've known. That love is forever and someday when its time you'll join me again on this journey of mine.
