| VERNA KVERN (nee BATTELLINO) Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Verna, beloved wife of Virgil, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 83 years. Verna is survived by her loving husband Virgil; daughter Lori (Rob); son Dave; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brother Roy and sister Vi of California. Verna lived in Winnipeg all of her life. In compliance with Verna's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.
