JOSEPHINE (JOEY) SANDERCOCK (published on January 09, 2010)

JOSEPHINE (JOEY) SANDERCOCK (WEBSTER) March 8, 1931 - December 24, 2009 It is with great sadness, the family announces the sudden passing of Joey on December 24, 2009. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Bill, of 58 years; daughters Debbie (Bob) Argue, Diane Bacon, Tedda (Tom Howard), and son Mark Sandercock; grandchildren Brendan, Brooke (Jaci), Colby (Kristy), Shea Argue, Kristin and Sean Bacon, Colton and Callista Howard, and great-grandson Cole Argue; special niece Shelly Cabernal, dearest friend Merle Bell, and faithful pet Marshall. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Dorthy Webster, infant daughter Roxy, and brother Reg Webster. Joey was born on the family farm at Pilot Mound on March 8, 1931. Joey met her true love, Bill, at Clearwater in 1950 and they were married two years later. Joey and Bill lived on the farm at Clearwater where they raised their family with love and fun. Always present were dogs, cats, and horses. She especially enjoyed riding their horses in the valley with her daughters. Joey and Bill moved off the farm into their home in Crystal City in 1994. She enjoyed visits from family, friends, and neighbours. Holidays were bus trips to Minneapolis for ball games. Joey enjoyed 11 years of winter travel to Victoria, BC. An Anglican service was held in Clearwater United Church on December 30, 2009, officiated by Reverend Carol Guilford. Lunch followed in the Clearwater Hall. Private interment was held at the Clearwater Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Pembina Valley Humane Society, Box 414, Morden, MB R6M 1A5, (204) 822-9413, pvhs@live.ca. One or the other must leave, One or the other must stay. One or the other must grieve, That is forever the way. That is the vow that is sworn, Faithful til death do us part. Braving that what has to be borne, Hiding the ache in the heart. One, how so ever adored, First must be summoned away. That is the will of the Lord One or the other must stay. Graham's Funeral Service entrusted with arrangements. (204) 825-2848 www.wheatlnd.com
