Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place. For those who wish viewing will be held prior to Mass. A reception will take place in the St. John Brebeuf Parish Hall immediately following Mass. Interment will follow in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue at the Perimeter Highway. The family gives special thanks to the WRHA Homecare staff who enabled Jean to remain in her house after her stroke, and to the staff at Tuxedo Villa Personal Care Home for their wonderful care and support during her last years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2, the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3, or to a charity of your choice.
