| THOMAS STOKES Peacefully, with his family at his side, Tom passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on January 12, 2010 at the age of 55. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Carol, daughter Stephanie, mother Betty and brother Scott (Maureen) and beloved dog Jasmine. Tom is also survived by many relatives. Tom was employed at Canpar for 26 years and later joined Wolseley Canada. Sincere thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care he received. Special thanks to Dr. Moncek, Dr. Lau, Dr. Salaman and Dr. Rigatto and to all family and friends for their kind support. Tom will be remembered for his love for his family, generosity and willingness to help others. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. At Tom's request, a memorial service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, 210-375 York Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2. |
