| SHEILA MURRAY WHITE (nee COUPAR) Sheila Murray White, beloved wife of the late Desmond White, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 13, 2010. Born in Winnipeg July 3, 1921, she lived a full and meaningful life. She is survived by her son Murray (Coral) and their children Charlotte, Genevieve and Grant and her daughter Pam (Eric) and their children Julia, Cameron and Scott. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who took great pride in her children's and grandchildren's accomplishments. A long time resident of River Heights, she will be remembered for her community involvement, her social responsibility and her volunteerism. Her heart always resided in Winnipeg but she often talked fondly of her years living in Montreal, London, England, Bermuda and Germany. She will be missed by her twin sister Shirley, her nephews Ron, Robert, John and Gordon and nieces Margaret and Kate, as well her many friends, many of whom were lifelong friends. A memorial service will be held at the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to disaster relief for Haiti or charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
