| STELLA ZAJANCZKOWSKI On Friday, January 15, 2010 Stella passed away at Concordia Place at 100 years of age. She is survived by son Fred and wife Sylvia Sitar, grandchildren Cheryl (Ted), Darlene (Pete), John, and Sandi (Marc), daughter Rose and husband Paul Zommer, grandchildren Glenn, Arnie (and wife Joanne and their children Curtis and Lindsay), Brian (and wife Karen and their children Andrew and Meaghan). Baba was born in Stony Hill, MB to Nick and Mary Shubert on September 23, 1909. She was predeceased by her first husband John Sitar in 1954 and by her second husband Antoni in 1978. For the last nine years she has been a resident of Concordia Place, thanks to the kind staff for looking after her. We were lucky enough to have her until her 100th birthday party, and she was lucky enough to see Santa Claus one last time. Funeral Service and interment for Stella will take place at a later date.
