| MICHAEL PETER HYKAWY Suddenly, on Thursday, January 14, 2010 Michael passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 82. Predeceased by his brother John. His memory will be forever cherished by loving wife of 57 years Bonnie; son Keith (Kimberley); daughter Joy (Jeff Ayre); grandchildren Kaeleigh, Timothy, Sean and Nikayla; sisters Annie and Mary; sister-in-law Vicki; step-sisters-in-law Beverley (Walter) and Valerie (Ron); as well numerous nieces, nephews, neighbours, extended family and friends. Dad was a longtime employee of the Greater Winnipeg Gas Company, past Potentate of The Masons and a member of Fife and Drum with the Shriners. A Celebration of Michael's life will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Winnipeg Humane Society. The family would like to thank the Winnipeg Fire Fighter and Paramedic Service and the staff at the Victoria Hospital.
