BRADLEY JAMES HOULE (published on January 27, 2010)



BRADLEY JAMES HOULE After a long and courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bradley on January 22, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Bradley leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many memories, his mother Mary C. Houle, his sisters Wanda (Ivan), Shirley, Brenda (Wayne) as well as nephews Craig and Dylan, nieces Pamela, Linda, Jennifer, Danielle, Tori, Jaylee as well as his great-nephew Kenton and great-niece Keira. He was predeceased by his dad James (Jim) Matthew Houle on January 30, 2004, his grandma Maggie Houle, his grandparents Charlie and Madeleine Malcolm, his aunt and uncle Geordie and Leona Malcolm, his uncles Gary, Gordon, and Rufus Houle and his cousin Charles Starr. In 1979, Brad started working with CN Rail which took him across many provinces. During this time, Bradley had the opportunity to work along side his Dad at various times. Brad enjoyed skidooing, fishing, boating and ice fishing. He also spent a lot of time attending car shows and every Sunday night Brad made his way to Winnipeg to attend Cruise night with his nephew Craig. Brad and Craig were also members of a car club in Dauphin called Parkland Classics. Brad purchased many old cars and spent many hours restoring them Brad, most of all, loved spending time with his family and friends, especially the younger children and his nephew Craig. The family wishes to thank Dr. Rush and his staff, as well as the nurses and unit assistants of GD4 at the Health Sciences Centre. A traditional wake and prayer service for Brad was held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Ebb and Flow Hall. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Ebb and Flow. Fr. Norberto Monton will officiate with the interment following in the Ebb and Flow Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jason Starr, Dave Jr. Rundle, Darrel Malcolm, Willard Jr. Houle, Joseph Jr. Malcolm, and Frankie Beaulieu. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews Craig, Pam, Linda, Jennifer, Tori, Jaylee, and Dylan and his great-nephew Kenton and his great-niece Keira. Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Services, Ste.
