| DIANE ELIZABETH FILMON With great sadness, we announce Diane's unexpected passing on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Gary, sister-in-law Janice, her nieces, Allison and Susanna; nephews, David and Gregg; cousins and many friends from both 1630 Henderson Hwy. and Holy Redeemer Parish. Diane was raised and educated in North Winnipeg and worked for many years in Eaton's Catalogue Division followed by a long period of service to Msgr. Edward Hubicz at St. John Cantius Church. Diane was devoted to the Catholic Church, having taught Sunday school, sung in the choir and participated regularly in the activities of her church. She enjoyed travel and in the past went frequently on guided bus tours with FehrWay to all parts of North America. During the past two decades, Diane was very engaged in the activities at her residence. She enjoyed the many social activities and looked upon her fellow residents as family. A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Redeemer Parish Church, 264 Donwood Drive at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 29.
