| ELMO BALOUN Elmo Baloun of Edmonton, AB passed away peacefully in his home on January 25, 2010 at the age of 75. Elmo was born and raised at Morden, MB. He made friends easily as he operated businesses in various Western Canadian locations. He was always in the center of lively conversations and was terrific at creating smiles everywhere he went. He will be missed by many. Elmo is survived by his children Michael, Trish, Carmel, Dale (Angie), Grant (Kathy) and Ray (Gail), nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His sisters Mary of Winnipeg and Lydia of California and his best friend and brother John in Edmonton. He is remembered by Edith Langseth of Manitou and Loreen Baloun of Calgary as well as nieces and nephews. Elmo was predeceased by his parents Walter and Ruby Baloun of Morden, MB. A celebration of Elmo's life was held in Edmonton on Saturday, January 30. Elmo used to love to treat people to dinner so in lieu of donations please treat someone else to dinner in Elmo's honour! |
