YVETTE J. DUPUIS (nee LAVALLEE) February 4, 1921 - February 15, 2010 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother at Taché Centre with her sister by her side. Yvette will be lovingly remembered by her three children Lucie (Noël Jolicoeur), Raymond (Alice) and Normand, her sister Rose-Marie Lamontagne, sister-in-law Aline (Simon Carreiro). She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Louise Jolicoeur-McKenzie and husband Stuart, and son Collin, Richard Jolicoeur and wife Jan, their girls Melanie and Remi, Rhéal Jolicoeur and wife Jolene, Joanne Jolicoeur and friend Max, Joel Dupuis and wife Maria and daughter Aliyah, and Danielle Dupuis. Yvette was predeceased by her loving husband André Dupuis in 1995, parents Antoine and Marie-Rose Lavallée, her brother Paul-Edmond Lavallée, sister Berthe Rajotte. Yvette was born in St. Jean-Baptiste and married André Dupuis where they farmed and distributed milk in town. They had three children and later moved to St. Boniface. Yvette loved to knit and especially crochet; she also loved her plants and garden. There was always a kettle boiling for coffee and a bite to eat. Our family would like to thank the staff at Taché Centre, especially Estelle, Barb and Katrina. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20 at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald Street. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Yvette's name made to the Holy Family Parish Dominican Republic Project, 778 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, MB R2J 0Y4 would be greatly appreciated.
