| ALLAN KIRSCH It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Kirsch on February 20, 2010, at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife and companion of 50 years, Angie, daughters Michele (Tim) and Jacqueline (Paula) and sister Penny (Eddy). Allan worked at Kleysen Transport for over 51 years, still working part-time until his illness. He will long be remembered for his love of jokes. He enjoyed fishing, camping and his ham radio. The family would like to thank the Palliative doctors and nurses at Grace and Riverview Hospitals that took special care of Allan, and all his friends at Kleysen's. A Celebration of his life will take place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Thursday, February 25 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Hospital.
