| RENE ANDRE 1912 2010 Peacefully at Foyer Valade on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, René passed away at the age of 97 years. He is predeceased by his first wife Marie, his daughter Lucille and son-in-law Walter and sister Sr. Jean Bosco. René is survived by his wife Eliane, daughter Marie-José and sister Thérèse, grandchildren Maria (Don), Daniel (Barb) and Michael (Sharon); stepchildren Jack, Joanne (David), Jan, Michael, and Andrew (Mary Ann); great-grandchildren Michael, Meghan, Jennelle, Jaret, Michelle, Jason, Mark, Caecilia, Philomena, Rosalyn, Jacinta, Alexander, Bethany and Rebecca. As proprietor of Rossignon Sheet Metal, René touched the lives of many people in the community. He was known for his generosity, spirit, skilled craftmanship, good sense of humor, and strong work ethic. All this was permeated with his strong and deep Catholic faith, in every aspect of his life. A strong man with strong faith and a gentle loving heart, an example for us all. We will miss you. Prayers will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Requiem mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Rosary Church, 480 McKenzie Street, to be followed by a light lunch. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 501 Plinguet Street.
