SCOTT (MATTY) MATHIESON  (published on March 20, 2010)

SCOTT (MATTY) MATHIESON I thought of you with love today but that was nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part. God has you in His keeping; I have you in my heart. Say hi to Mom and Dad and I will see you later Scott passed away on March 11, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 50. He leaves to mourn his sister Lauren (Kevin) and the love of his life, Betty. Some of Scott's greatest memories were coaching Jeff in juniors and setting up the first curling rink in San Antonio. In his last days he enjoyed watching the Olympics and the Brier. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a family service and interment will follow in San Antonio. Three words that describe Scott are: Enthusiastic - there isn't a sport that he could not rattle off the stats of for the last 30 years Go Spurs Go ; Compassionate towards humans and animals alike Toba and Bo miss you ; Fighter - he may not have overcome his final hurdle but he sure tried Rest in Peace . As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society
