FREDRICK (BOZO) ZABALOTNUK Born in Winnipeg, MB February 5, 1921 March 16, 2010 Fred peacefully and bravely passed away at the Concordia Hospital. He is now with all of his old buddies. Fred was predeceased by his parents George and Teenie, first wife Marie Behan, mother-in-law Victoria Robinson, sons George Zabalotnuk and Dennis Falk, sister Elsie, brother Edward, brothers-in-law Frank Hare, Harold Mousseau, Eddie Kubb and Albert Robinson and sister-in-law Freda Hare. Fred is survived by his wife Lucy (Robinson, Falk) Zabalotnuk, brother Bill, daughters Connie, Jenny Lamoureaux (Dale) and Marlene Blond (James), sons Brian Saunders (Sandra) and Larry Falk (Theresa), along with grand-children Carol, Darren, Wayne, Sandra, Shawna, Barry, Gilbert, Bradley, Ainsley, Patrick, John, Kameron, Austin and Jerod. Fred was a moulder by trade. He worked hard from an early age until retirement. He served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War. Fred loved a good party; always a ham. He told corny jokes which you had to laugh at. He loved water fights, kick the can and hide and seek. Fred loved the Trans Canada Highway going West. Fred would not want tears on his passing. We thank the staff at Concordia, N1 South. Respecting Fred's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
