At this time they moved off the farm into Langham and Darcy moved on to the farm and continued grain farming. During his years in the dairy, he was very involved in the Dairy Herd Improvement Association and received numerous awards for his herd improvement. Allan was also very involved in the church - as an usher, Sunday School Superintendent, Awana director, member of the Church Council, etc. He was predeceased in January 2000 by his wife, Beulah. In May 2004 Allan married Beatrice and they enjoyed six wonderful years together. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; his four children, Valerie (Gordon) Rowland, Priscilla (Ike) Epp, Ruby (Scott) Borody and Darcy (Marilyn) Friesen; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
