SOPHIE FEDORY (KOHAYKEWYCH) Change of Time and Location of Service Peacefully, Sophie left us on Sunday, March 21, 2010. Sophie was predeceased by her husband John Kohaykewych in 1974, husband Nick Fedory in 2000, brothers Andrew and Marion. Sophie is survived by her sons, Michael and Zenon; daughter, Marika; grandchildren, Mark (Laureen), Larysa (Dan), Stefan, Danya, Olenka, Stephen, Mykola, Petro and great-grandchild, Alyssa. Sophie was born on February 21, 1927 in Toutry, France and came to Canada with her husband John and son Michael in 1951, settling in Winnipeg. She was employed in the garment industry with Sterling-Cloak and later with Winnipeg Child and Family Services. When she was healthy, Sophie was an active member of the U.C.W.L.C. of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral. She loved to travel and considered Hawaii her second home, where she visited 13 times. She also enjoyed the activities provided by the various Seniors Clubs. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 26 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat M. Buyachok officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The family wishes to especially thank Emma, Gina, Lyn, Adelina, Nina and the other ladies from Home Care who assisted Sophie over the years. VICHNAYA PAMYAT KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
