| HELEN TAI KWUN CHU (nee PANG) With her loving family by her side, Helen Chu passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on Friday, April 2, 2010. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Raymond (1994). Left to cherish and mourn Helen are her sons Man Yen, Tsang Yin (Shirley), Kwun (Susan) and Waiyen, grandchildren Mitchell, Emily, Theresa and Dale, sister May (Don) Woo, brother Andy (Yeung Pui Kuen) Pang, extended family members and friends. Helen was born on July 23, 1937 in Hong Kong to parents Lui Mui and Fuk. Helen was hard working and was looking forward to a well earned retirement after 35 years of working with the Province of Manitoba, Transportation Department. Helen survived cancer, she was resilient and courageous. This strength allowed her to enjoy almost 14 more valuable years. Mom enjoyed gardening, dancing, and music. Mom looked forward to time spent with her grandchildren and family, creating many cherished memories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare MB, P.O. Box 2248, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4A6.
