In 1957, Bob moved to Winnipeg to begin his working career at Fairfield Textiles, C.N. and Winnipeg Auto. He later owned and operated his own businesses, R C Delivery for many years and Central Sales Car Lot as he had a passion for cars and trucks. In 1959, Robert met Cecile and on November 25, 1961 they were married at the St. Michael's Church in Transcona. Bob enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling and was always the life of a good party. Special thanks to all the Home Care Workers for their help and kindness in the last four years, especially Stella who spent a lot of time with us. Very special thanks also to the staff at Vista Park Lodge for being compassionate, helpful and pleasant at all times, and for looking after Bob for the past five months. Your thoughtfulness and hugs helped us through a difficult time. Cremation has taken place and a private service was held at Green Acres. Flowers gratefully declined. Rest in peace dear husband, dad and grandpa. We will remember you in our own special way. |
