KENNETH EDWARD DAWSON (published on April 10, 2010)

KENNETH EDWARD DAWSON Kenneth Dawson passed away peacefully with family at his side on April 1, 2010 at the age of 91 years. He will be forever remembered by his family, friends and the staff of Tower 7, Deer Lodge Hospital. Ken was a very private man possessing a strong sense of purpose and compassion. He was a Second World War Veteran and was stationed overseas during the War. He volunteered in such capacities: as a little league baseball coach, as Fire Chief and Member of the Voluntary Fire Department and Ambulance Services, a member of the Knights of Columbus, served on the executive of the Royal Canadian Legion and in later years, a driver for Meals on Wheels. Ken was predeceased by his beloved wife, Florence and son Mark. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter Gail (Charles) and their children, Monica, Veronica and Anthony Baumgartner; his son Paul and his children, Alison, Wendy, Sarah, Diana Dawson; his son Michael (Shawna) and their children, Mackenzie and Connor Dawson. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa's Church, 3597 Main Street in West St. Paul with Father Michael Wollbaum officiating.
