LEOPOLDO SUDARIA SILASTRE Peacefully on April 8, 2010, with family by his side, Leopoldo (Pol) Sudaria Silastre passed into eternal rest at the age of 59 years. He is predeceased by his loving father Carlos. Pol will be lovingly remembered by his wife Erlinda; children, Leslie, Mary Jane (Chris), Norman and Oliver; his mother Dominga; auntie Pat; his siblings, Ana (Orling), Eddie (Estrella), Evelyn, Nila (Tony), Caring (Lito), Arsing (Baby), Eppen, Samuel and Merlyn (Freddie); and his in-laws, the Peralta family. He will also be missed dearly by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles and friends throughout Canada, United States and the Philippines. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of St. Boniface General Hospital, at MICU and 6E. Lamay will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 and Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., commencing at 6:00 p.m. and concluding at the request of the family. Prayer Vigil will be on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with Monsignor Enrique Samson officiating. A worship service of thanksgiving and prayer will be conducted on Saturday evening, April 17, with Pastor Frank Robertson officiating. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. Interment in Brookside Cemetery.
