| JACOB JJF GOERTZEN 1919 - 2010 On Sunday April 11, 2010 at Salem Home in Winkler, MB, JJF Goertzen aged 90 years went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Susie Goertzen (nee Neufeld) of Winkler; four daughters, Anne and Henry Hoeppner of Morden, Mary and Ted Petkau, Judy and Len Funk, Esther and Larry Toews, all of Winnipeg; two sons, Jake Goertzen of Winkler and Ernest and Charlotte Goertzen of Winnipeg as well as 11 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren and 20 step-great-grand-children. He was predeceased by his first wife, Judith (nee Peters) in 1987. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler today from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 252 6th St. Interment will take place at the Reinfeld Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. All are welcome. The family wishes to thank the staff at Salem Home for their compassionate care.
