| ROBERT J. PROKOPEC 1929 - 2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Robert leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Eleanor, of 55 and one half years; his children: Steve (Helen), Allan and Wendy; four grandchildren: Quinten, Dylan, Brayden and Lauryn; brother Harry; sisters: Mae and Shirley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dad enjoyed working in the garden, picking blueberries, watching sports, and listening to his favourite music being the Saturday night polka hour on CFRY. Dad was an uncomplicated man, genuine and humble in his ways. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, health care workers in Units 2 and 3 - 4th floor at Seven Oaks Hospital. God Bless everyone of you. In keeping with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of his life was held on Thursday, May 27 in the Coutu Funeral Chapel with Father Martin Bradbury officiating.
