HEATHER ELIZABETH ROYLANCE (published on June 02, 2010)

HEATHER ELIZABETH ROYLANCE (nee MOWAT) Heather Elizabeth Roylance passed on her way in the evening of May 24, 2010. At home with Heather, Mom and Gram , she left Cam, her children Glen, Cindy, David, Penny and Sue, without the guiding light of their lives. Heather's 14 grandchildren will truly miss her council, as they are an integral part of Heather's and my life. Heather's brother Allan of Winnipeg and Cousin Les Wood of Fife, Scotland, as her extended family, they will know her thoughts were with them, always. The family invites Heather's friends to attend with us, on June 7, to her Service of Remembrance at St. Andrew Church (11:00 a.m.) in Alliston, followed by a Celebration of Her Life at the Briar Hill Community Centre (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.). As Heather was known by her table , we will ask that those attending to participate by bringing a Pot Luck contribution to the Celebration, for all to enjoy. We extend our most heartfelt thanks to Dr. Izabella Kogan for her continued support and truly excellent care of Heather, and to the St. Elizabeth Nurses who so caringly visited and helped Heather, to the Community Care Access Committee for their incredible ability to always have the timely assistance available, to Mathews House Hospice for their loving advice and insight to my needs in support of Heather. Rev. Kim McArthur continues her support with her guiding insight and very welcome council. Heather's love of people, from the Class of 1957 at Winnipeg Children's Hospital in Winnipeg, schoolmates and neighbours in Winnipeg, our Sea Club V Siesta Key beach lovers, to our wonderful Mississauga and Briar Hill friends, we all, will surely miss her. It is Heather's request that in lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory be sent to the Lymphedema Association, care of The John Thomas Funeral Home in Alliston. As Heather was surely a part of this day and age, please refer to www.roylance.ca/celebration for travel directions, addresses, donation information, etc. Heather's family looks forward to continuing our contact with you on our day of remembrance, June 7, 2010.
