| FLORENCE KRISTINE ALBERTSON May 29, 1932 - May 31, 2010 It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our sister, aunt, and great- aunt Florence on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Gimli Betel Home. She leaves to cherish her memory her brothers Albert and Marvin; her sisters Sigurlin (Lloyd) Sigvaldason and Arlene (Kenneth) Peterson; brother in-law Ingvar Karvelson, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Bjorgvin and Sigurlin (Lena) Albertson, sister Doreen Karvelson, a sister in infancy, and great-niece Anna Johnson. Florence attended school in North Arnes and Gimli High School. She graduated from Success College and worked many years as a secretary. Florence loved family functions and was always thrilled when her nieces and nephews were around. She would love to tease, play games, or go for walks with them. We will greatly miss her friendly hello. (You Hoo!) Our family would like to thank Dr. R.C. Patel for his compassion and kindness throughout the years. We would especially like to thank all of the staff at Betel Home for their patience and wonderful care shown to Florence. Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gimli Lutheran Church with Pastor David Lowe officiating. Interment to follow at the Arnes cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Peterson, Mark Sewell, Wes Henry, Peter Peiluck, Blaine Tessier and John Dziad. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arnes Cemetery or Betel Home Foundation.
