GENORA B. WHITWORTH Genora's family would like to announce that a graveside service in her memory will be held in her home town of Roblin, MB on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Roblin District Cemetery on Hwy #83. Genora was born Colleen Elizabeth Gamey in Roblin, MB on August 15, 1950 and passed away peacefully at her home in Winnipeg on July 5, 2009. Genora will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Braden; son John Major (Patricia); grandchildren Emily, Aaron, George, Charlie; daughter Gerri (Darryl) Link, grandchildren; Riley and Grace. Also left to mourn her loss are her sisters Gwen-Ellen (Steve), Denise (Dennis), Maggie, and brother Reilly, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Genora was predeceased by her parents George and Irene (nee McNicol) Gamey, brother James and sisters Sharon and Heather. Genora was very passionate for life in reflection was her compassion, humanitarianism, duties towards causes, and people, and places where she would place her loving touch and create instrumental changes in which she gave credit to God for. She studied many forms of healing modalities and spent the last number of years working out of Deer Lodge Centre as well as her home; that included reflexology, massage therapy, cranial sacral therapy healing touch to name a few. There was no separation between her work and spiritual life one of constant seeking and gratitude for the gifts from her higher power. Genora was a very special and unique person who is greatly missed. Many fond memories will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of cards, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice. Flowers can be brought to the service at the Roblin District Cemetery.
