Adele began her career at Dun and Bradstreet, and from 1969 to 1985 was a civilian member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Lifelong friendships were formed during those years. Capri Resort in Yuma, Arizona became Adele's Heaven on Earth in her retirement. Adele was very proud of her winter home and there was always an open invitation for friends and family to visit. The one stipulation was that they had to do the cooking. Adele was a very generous person. Her greatest joy in life was helping her family and friends in any way she could. Her sense of humour and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
