In March 1981 she began working at the Plains Health Centre. This led to a fulfilling office career in the health region, working at also the Pasqua and General Hospitals, where she retired from in 2004. Her retirement years were spent going to Curves where she reached almost 1,000 visits, shopping with her dear friend Velma and continuing to be a terrific wife, mom and grandmother.
