GWEN (GRANNY) GLUCK (published on June 26, 2010)

GWEN (GRANNY) GLUCK It is with unhappy hearts that the family wishes to announce the passing of Gwen Elizabeth Gluck, most lovingly referred to as Granny, on June 24, 2010. Gwen was born on March 17, 1940 in Teulon Manitoba. She cherished life with family and friends. Gwen lived in Winnipeg, Headingley, Winnipeg Beach and Gimli where she truly enjoyed the beauty of nature and the goodness of the people she met. She loved to travel, enjoyed curling, gardening, crafts and music. Gwen was a true animal lover who cherished her best friend Murphy, her golden retriever. She always had a treat in her pocket for those four-legged friends she would meet on her daily walks. Her true joy was her family, husband, children and grandchildren as she would attend every sporting event, music concert, birthday party or school event she could. Gwen is survived by her husband Paul, her sons, Brad (Norma) and Chris Robinson, and her daughter Tracey (Ray) Clare, her grandchildren, Samantha, Thomas, Aly, Myles, Emily and Melyssa, her sister Fran (Frank) MacEachern and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews as well as close friends and colleagues who she truly loved. Memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in Gwen's name. A celebration of Gwen's life will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre, 4000 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
