| IRENE DANYLUK (nee OLSZANSKI) December 16, 1919 - August 15, 2010 It is with the deepest of sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother Irene. After a courageous battle against a failing heart and pneumonia, God offered her shelter. Irene was a loving and caring mother and wife. A gentle and kind lady who always admired God's creations as seen through her eyes in brilliantly coloured flowers, clouds of infinite shapes and especially through the love and companionship she shared with her special canine friend Puggie. Irene will fondly be remembered for her sense of humour and quick wit, which we shall miss greatly. At 90 years of age, Irene lived beyond her husband Fred, her brother Joseph (Mary) and sisters Anne (Joe) and Jean (Herman). Irene is survived by her loving and devoted son Ken, her daughter-in-law and best friend Sharon, faithful nephew Chuck and niece Anne. Irene also has several nieces, great-nieces and nephews and many admiring friends in both the Lower Mainland and in Winnipeg. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Irene was born in Beausejour, MB and will be laid to rest in the family plot at St. Mary's Church in Beausejour. An interment service followed by a celebration of Irene's life will be held in the Springtime. A prayer intercession will be conducted at St. George's Church in Fort Langley, BC on Sunday, August 22. The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to all of the beloved staff and volunteers of Simpson's Manor, Fort Langley for the loving care and compassion they so generously gave to Irene throughout the past six years.
