MAE MANDZIUK (nee SIEMASH) It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother, Mae Mandziuk ,at the age of 85 years on September 16, 2010. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, son John (Susan) Mandziuk, daughter Joanne (Gerald) van Munster, her grandchildren Christopher Mandziuk, Katrina and Marisa van Munster. Besides her children and grandchildren Mae will be missed by her sister Emily (Tom) Miller of Mission, Texas and her brother John (Janet) Siemash of Richmond Hill, Ontario and many nieces and nephews. Mae was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph in March, 2007, after 62 years of marriage, as well as two brothers and five sisters. Mae was born in Caliento, Manitoba on March 17, 1925 to Joseph and Anna Siemash. Mae enjoyed vacationing in the family motor home with her husband in Texas. Mae took very much pride in maintaining her garden and deeply loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with the Very Reverend Archpriest Gregory Mielnik officiating. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the staff on the 2nd Floor Mosaic at the Poseidon Care Centre for their compassion and kindness shown to Mae and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mae's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Manitoba Kidney Foundation. Rest in Peace Vichnaya Pam'yat Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
