| SHIRLEY KATHERINE ANN BODNAR After a two-year battle with cancer, it is with great sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, cherished mother, loving grandmother, sister, and friend, Shirley Bodnar on September 15th, 2010 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Shirley was born and raised in the Halbstadt, Manitoba area on January 30, 1951. Shirley loved cooking, gardening, singing, and family gatherings. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Katharina and John I. Hildebrand; sisters Maria and Hilda; brothers John, Jacob (Jim), Edwin, Diedrich, and Isaac. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Joseph; her three children, Roselene (Joy), Joseph Junior, and Justin; her grandchildren Nathan, Jordan, Alexander, and Zoey; her sister Susie; and brothers Peter and David. The family gives thanks and appreciates visits she received. Her memory, generosity, caring spirit, and love will remain with all those who knew her.
