CLIFFORD GIBSON (published on September 21, 2010)

CLIFFORD GIBSON On Monday, September 13, 2010 our father, grandfather and great-grandfather slipped away from us. Dad was born on December 30, 1913 on the family farm at Graysville to Norm and Nellie (Ellen McIntosh) Gibson. He was the eldest of four children. He spent his life on the farm working with his dad. He married mom, Dorothy Ostrander on December 17, 1949. They continued to live and work on the farm where they raised their family. Elaine was born February 1951 and Robert in June 1956. Mom and dad sold the farm and moved to Carman in 1971. This is where they stayed with help from Robert until they left us. Dad loved his music and it played a large part in his life. He played his guitar and banjo with a great many people over the years. He also enjoyed singing while he played. Family gatherings were happy times filled with music and song. Dad was 96 years when he passed away. He lived a long life where family, music, and the farm were his life.
