BRITTANY LYNN MURRAY (published on October 22, 2010)

BRITTANY LYNN MURRAY With great sadness the family announces the tragic passing of Brittany Lynn Murray on October 18, 2010 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 21 years. Brittany leaves to cherish her memory with her dad Neil; mother Charlene Harrison (Russ); brother Ryan; sister Lindsay; grandparents: Al DeCaigny (Barb) and Catherine Murray. Aunts and uncles: Kerry and Karla DeCaigny, David and Leanne Frostiak and their families; Evelyn Harrison and family, and numerous friends also cherish her memory. Brittany was predeceased by her great-grandparents, grandfather Jack Murray and grandmother Sheila DeCaigny. Brittany will be sadly missed by her boyfriend Chaanse Fennell and his family, and her beloved dog Malcolm - whom she both loved dearly! Brittany was raised in St. Vital and Thunder Bay, ON. After graduation in 2006 from Dakota Collegiate, Brittany attended the University of Manitoba and was pursuing a degree in Architecture. She was always a fun loving, caring person who loved to play practical jokes. Brittany's family and friends meant the world to her. Brittany enjoyed school and especially spending summers at Big Whiteshell Lake where she loved boating, water-skiing, swimming and just having fun. Brittany was an avid dancer from age four to 19 years where she danced both for fun and competitively. Brittany's journey ended way too soon and she will be sadly missed by her family and countless friends. The family would like to thank the St. Boniface Hospital staff and the Paramedics who worked so hard to try and save our Brittany. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Brittany's 21 vibrant years of life on Friday, October 22, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. We did not know that morning What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief, the shock severe To part with one we loved so dear. You bid no one a last farewell No chance to say goodbye, You were gone Brittany, before we knew it And God only knows why. We pray that when you left us That you knew how much we cared, Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through We will always love and cherish memories of you. We hold you close within our hearts And there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives Until we meet again! We Love you Brittany Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
