| JOHN (JACK) HANSON August 31, 1927 - October 25, 2010 On October 25, 2010 Jack, passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, at the Health Sciences Centre. Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife Yvette, his mother Julia, father Bernard, sisters Anna, Beatrice, Florence, and brother Bill. Jack will be sadly missed by his best friend and loving companion sister-in-law Helen Dyck, and by his children Bill (Eileen), Kirk (Barb), Kim (Conrad) and Marc. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Elaine (Rick), Sheri (Brian), Kelly, Melanie (David), Randy, Cory, Clayton (Kerry), Ryan, Troy (Randi), Eric, Luke, Jager Jack, Talleah, and Calise, and great-grandchildren Dominique, Christina, Daiton, Austun, Annie, Mollie, Aurora, Zachary, Kaitlyn and Gavin as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Jack worked at the CN Express for numerous years until he retired. Jack was a humble, active, soft spoken man. He was a great friend, and strong family supporter, an all around family man. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Seniors Centennial Centre. His social activities included golfing with his friends and grandchildren, bowling, horse racing, highlight of his life was owning his own race horse with his son Kirk. He enjoyed Sunday dinners at his children's homes. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Funeral service will take place Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment and reception will follow.
