SYLVIA PULLMER With sadness, we announce the death of Sylvia Pullmer, our mother and grandmother. Sylvia was born in Winnipeg on October 14, 1910 and died peacefully at the Louis Brier Home and Hospital in Vancouver on December 15, 2010. She lived most of her life in Winnipeg's north end (on Machray and Scotia Streets) by the Red River. She was predeceased by her loving husband Allan in 1961. Sylvia was a consummate artist and continued to study art well into her 80s. She loved music and enjoyed playing piano. Her greatest love and dedication was to her precious family who will deeply miss her. She is survived by her son Lewis and daughter-in-law Nora (Ferera) and grand-children David and Rachelle. The family extends thanks and appreciation to the health care staff of the Louis Brier Home and Hospital as well as to Dr. C. Mcguire. Donations in her memory can be made to the Louis Brier Home and Hospital or Congregation Beth Hamidrash in Vancouver. |
