MYRTLE GRACE HALL (published on February 23, 2011)

MYRTLE GRACE HALL (nee CLARK) February 11, 1909 February 16, 2011 Myrtle Grace Hall, 102 years, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on February 16, 2011 at the Victoria Hospital. She was the last of seven children born to Martha Jane and Alexander Clark. Though born on the family farm outside Melville, Saskatchewan, Myrtle lived most of her life in Winnipeg. Arriving in the city during the depression, Myrtle worked hard to provide for her three daughters. She successfully owned and operated two businesses. She was an avid gardener and loved to quilt, passing on many of her beautiful works to her family. Genealogy was a hobby she spent many hours at and there was always a dog or two by her side. Myrtle will be sadly missed, but lovingly remembered by her daughters Rita Blanchette, Bernice Miller and Georgina Johnson; grandchildren: Greg and Rhonda Blanchette, Shannon Miller, Blake (Diane) Miller, Tracey Johnson (Dale Panchyshyn) and Jim Johnson; great-grandchildren: Lyall, Brettany and Leisha Miller, Chelsea Pottage and Kelly Panchyshyn. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service is planned at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined and if so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 680 Archibald St. 253-5086
